Telehealth Counseling in North Carolina

I provide counseling for adolescents and adults and work with a variety of individuals experiencing a range of challenges. I work with people of all backgrounds, life experiences, and identities. My clinical work has focused on mental health for neurodivergent individuals. I understand a variety of neurotypes such as; autism, attention deficit, Tourette’s syndrome (TS), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), dyslexia, and dyspraxia.

My Rates

My out-of-pocket rates are $125 for a 50 minute session. Payment is due at the beginning of each session.

What to expect from your counseling experience?

  • I will support you in identifying objectives for your time in therapy. I have a direct, kind, and strength-based approach and will honor your views and values without judgment.

  • I collaborate with each client to identify needs and determine treatment approaches. I have experience utilizing multiple evidence-based counseling techniques, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

  • I will help you create systems and habits that impact your daily life. Concrete practices in and out of therapy help to build habits and expand on the impact of treatment.

  • I will provide you with resources and utilize therapy processes that suit your goals.

  • I commit to referring to other professionals to treat conditions outside my expertise.

  • I commit to creating a trusting connection with you. A significant measure of success in therapy is the relationship with your therapist.

Privacy and Confidentiality

Your privacy is a priority. All software and technology utilized in communications with Bee Tree Counseling PLLC is HIPPA compliant and designed to protect your health care information.

Confidentiality is information shared between the client and the counselor and will remain confidential, and no information will be released without signed consent from the client.  If you would like the counselor to discuss any aspects of the treatment with others, then your written permission is required.  Be assured of my sensitivity and obligation to protect your right to privacy. I am legally bound to break confidentiality in the following circumstances:

Exceptions to confidentiality; 

1) if there is a risk of imminent harm to yourself or another person

2) if there is suspicion of abuse of a child, elderly, or adult dependent

3) if there were a subpoena or court order

4) if you request that I do so with a signed form of consent 

5) if you are under 18, I reserve the right to contact your parents or legal guardian about anything significantly affecting your safety or health
